Diet Hot & Sour Soup

Hot, spicy, tasty and full with vegetables like onion, French beans, cabbage Veg Hot & Sour soup is addictive and a wonderful starter. The required ingredients are easily available in any market around you. This is a recipe from the fusion Indo-Chinese cuisine.

Ingredients

1. 50 gm Carrot (chopped)
2. 30 gm Cabbage (chopped)
3.50 gm French Beans (chopped)
4. 50 gm Onion (chopped)
5.1 tsp garlic (crushed)
6.2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
7.1 tsp Cornflower
8.1 cup Water
9. Rock Salt to taste
10.1/2 tsp Oil
11.1 tsp Ginger (grated)
12. 2 inch celery (chopped)
13. 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
14. 1 tsp Soya Sauce
15. 1 tsp Chili Vinegar sauce

Directions

1. Heat oil in a deep pan. Add chopped onion, garlic, celery and ginger and sauté for a minute.
2. Then add chopped French beans, carrot, cabbage and sauté again.
3.Add 1 cup boiling water, which must be followed by cornflour paste (cornflour mixed with water).
4.Then, Add 1tsp soya sauce, after which add pepper powder and mix well.
5.Add 1tsp Chili vinegar sauce. Garnish with some coriander leaves.
6. Serve Hot! Enjoy your soup!
